Take a look at the right column and you might notice a little graphic that says “art gallery”. Well, that link will take you to our new-fangled flickr account, where I’ve been busily uploading lots of art pictures! I’ve also got a set there of various pictures from our many mini-travels around Oregon and other places in the northwest. Please feel free to add us as a flickr friend! :)

This is another fairly recent painting of Randy’s, Boris Karloff as the monster in The Bride of Frankenstein. Pretty cool, eh?

Here’s one of Randy’s newer paintings, a wonderful little portrait of Vincent Price in the classic Poe flick, Tomb of Ligeia! He painted this for me for my birthday! :)

new home for lemurgurl and lambertartworks

Welcome to the arts and crafts blog of Renee Bosler (lemurgurl art) and Randy Lambert (lambertartworks)! After years of spreading ourselves too thin online with a variety of dead-end blogs and expensive web pages that never got updated, we decided to consolidate all that stuff into this one handy-dandy blog! We’ll be posting all our new paintings, sculptures, and crafty items here. Not much chat, mostly a lot of pictures. It’s all about keeping it simple. We’re both excited about the art projects we have lined up for 2009, so keep your eyes peeled! There ought to be lots of pretty pictures to look at here in the months to come!

Here’s a recent creation of mine, a thrift store hand mirror I sanded and painted. The moth is a cecropia moth, a large silk moth found throughout North America.
